Google is set to unveil the Pixel 10a on February 18 and has already provided a glimpse of the phone's design. While we were somewhat familiar with the Pixel 10a's appearance, this official confirmation is appreciated ahead of its launch. However, Google has yet to disclose the specifications of the Pixel 10a. While earlier rumors suggested that the Pixel 10a would essentially be a Pixel 9a in different colors, a recent leak indicates that this may not be entirely accurate.
The German blog WinFuture claims to have obtained information from retail sources revealing that the Google Pixel 10a will closely resemble the Pixel 9a. Notably, the Pixel 10a will feature a protected display with Gorilla Glass 7i instead of Gorilla Glass 3, and it will upgrade from Bluetooth 5.4 to Bluetooth 6.
Charging for the Pixel 10a will be faster, at 45W compared to the 23W of the 9a. However, there is no mention of wireless charging, which was present in the Pixel 9a, leaving ambiguity on whether this feature has been omitted.
Despite these changes, the battery capacity remains constant at 5,100 mAh, while the Pixel 10a weighs 183 grams—three grams lighter than the 9a. Additionally, the dimensions have been slightly adjusted from 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm to 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm.

According to the source, other specifications will remain consistent, including the Tensor G4 chip from the previous generation, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options of 128GB or 256GB on UFS 3.1. The device will also feature a 6.3-inch 120Hz P-OLED display with a resolution of 2,424 x 1,080 pixels and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The camera setup will consist of three lenses: a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP front-facing camera.
The Google Pixel 10a will have an IP68 rating, run Android 16 out of the box, and receive OS and security updates for seven years. It will be available in four colors: Obsidian (Black), Fog (White/Green), Lavender (Blue/Purple), and Berry (Red/Pink).
