This week, two smartphone families are on sale: the Poco F8 duo and three Pixel 10 models. The Poco phones feature faster chipsets and larger batteries, while the Pixel series is first in line for new Android updates.

A few weeks ago, the 16GB/512GB Poco F8 Ultra was priced at €750, and it remains at that price. However, Amazon has restocked the 12GB/256GB variant, now available for €680. The Ultra is equipped with a large 6.9-inch 12-bit 120Hz OLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It houses a 6,500mAh battery (with an Active Use Score of 18:52 hours) and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The camera setup is impressive, featuring a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.31-inch size, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide lens (102°), and a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, it boasts a premium audio experience with built-in 2.1-channel Bose speakers.

The Poco F8 Pro offers a more budget-friendly option. For a detailed comparison, refer to our detailed Poco F8 Pro vs. F8 Ultra article. To summarize, the Pro has a smaller 6.59-inch 12-bit 120Hz OLED display and a 6,210mAh battery (17:35h) with 100W wired charging. It is powered by last year’s flagship Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and features a camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Notably, the price for the 512GB version is equivalent to that of the 256GB model, making it a limited-time offer. Verify availability, as the 512GB option not only provides double the storage but also includes an extra 4GB of RAM, making it a valuable upgrade at no additional cost.

You can purchase a Google Pixel 10 for €800. It utilizes the same Tensor G5 chipset and features a 6.3-inch display, which is similar in size to the Pixel 10 Pro but has a lower resolution and lacks LTPO technology.

The Pixel 10 combines a 48MP main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide lens and, for the first time, includes a dedicated telephoto camera with a 10.8MP sensor offering 5x zoom (112mm). The 4,970mAh battery achieves an Active Use Score of 12:08 hours, which is somewhat disappointing given its capacity, and supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

For enhanced features, consider the more capable Pixel Pro models, which come at a higher price. The Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is currently being offered with a generous €350 discount, making it a more attractive option. It features a larger 6.8-inch LTPO display and a 5,200mAh battery with an Active Use Score of 12:29 hours.

The Pro XL boasts a superior camera system compared to the standard model, including a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP periscope lens with 5x zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide lens, as well as a 42MP front camera with an ultra-wide lens.

Currently, the 256GB version of the Pixel 10 Pro is out of stock, and the 512GB variant is priced similarly to the Pro XL. Nonetheless, if you prefer a compact device, the Pixel 10 Pro offers a 6.3-inch display (1280p+ LTPO compared to 1080p+ LTPS on the standard Pixel 10) and a 4,870mAh battery (12:06h). The camera specifications mirror those of the Pro XL.
