The Honor Pad X8 was introduced in 2022, and the Honor Pad X8b has now been quietly launched in Saudi Arabia. The reasoning behind the naming scheme remains unclear, especially given that it has been three and a half years since the X8's release.
The new tablet features an 11-inch 1920x1200 IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, alongside a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It boasts a robust 10,100 mAh battery and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. Running on Android 16 with MagicOS 10, the device measures 7.25mm in thickness and weighs 496g. A charger will be included in the box for customers in Saudi Arabia.

In Saudi Arabia, the Honor Pad X8b is available for SAR 649 (approximately $173) for a limited time as part of a launch offer. After this promotional period, the tablet's price will increase to SAR 849, roughly equivalent to $226.
