Spotify has been extremely active recently. After the official launch of Page Match, the streaming platform is now introducing 'About the Song,' designed as "a new way to explore the stories behind music."
This feature presents short, swipeable story cards within the Now Playing view, delving into "the meaning behind the music you're hearing." The stories are distilled from third-party sources to highlight interesting details and behind-the-scenes moments, as noted in the official press release.
To access this feature, open the Now Playing view and scroll down to locate the 'About the Song' card, which appears for supported tracks. Currently in beta, 'About the Song' is being rolled out on iOS and Android in English for Spotify Premium users in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
