New Leak Reveals Exciting Design Details of Apple's iPhone Fold

Fresh details about Apple’s first foldable iPhone have emerged online. A reputable source has disclosed key design features of the anticipated iPhone Fold, expected to launch in September this year.

The leak, shared by tipster Instant Digital on Weibo, indicates that the iPhone Fold will have volume buttons located on the top-right edge, similar to the layout of the iPad mini. This design choice is said to result from the motherboard's positioning on the right side, allowing Apple to avoid routing cables across to the left edge.

Additionally, the power button, which will incorporate Touch ID, along with the Camera Control button, will be situated on the right edge of the device. It has been noted that the left side of the foldable iPhone will be completely free of buttons.

On the front, the device is expected to feature a single punch-hole camera designed for selfies and video calls. The back is rumored to showcase a dual-camera setup housed within a plateau reminiscent of the iPhone Air, equipped with an LED flash and a microphone.

The tipster further claims that the rear camera module will have a completely black finish, contrasting with the body of the device, rather than matching its color. The iPhone Fold is expected to be available in two color options, one of which will be white.

Reportedly, Apple’s foldable iPhone will utilize a stacked internal design to accommodate a large battery.
