Although it is early in the development cycle for the OnePlus 16, which is expected to launch in Q4 2026, initial leaks suggest impressive specifications. As always, these preliminary details should be taken with caution.
The device is rumored to feature a flat BOE X5 OLED display with a resolution of 1220p and an impressive refresh rate of 240Hz. Internally, it may be powered by a Pro version of Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon Elite Gen 6 chipset, which is speculated to achieve remarkable clock speeds of up to 6GHz. This will be complemented by LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, though the storage will unfortunately not be expandable.
Other anticipated specifications include a substantial 9,000 mAh battery, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. In terms of photography, it is expected to feature two 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensors, one for the main camera and another for a periscope telephoto lens. Additionally, a new ultrawide camera is anticipated, but details remain scarce.
