As promised, Samsung has introduced its latest flagship device, the Galaxy Z TriFold, in the US. This new handset went on sale today for $2,899, which is $900 more than the Galaxy Z Fold7.

A limited number of devices were made available on Samsung's official website and at Samsung Experience Stores. However, these units quickly sold out in approximately 20 minutes. While this rapid sale might seem impressive, Samsung has not disclosed specific unit counts, leaving uncertainty about the actual demand.
Previously, Samsung conducted several flash sales in South Korea, where availability was also extremely limited.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is offered exclusively in Crafted Black with a single option for 512 GB of storage.
Samsung describes the Galaxy Z TriFold primarily as a technology showcase, aiming to attract both foldable and general tech enthusiasts. Even with a retail price of $2,899, Samsung is selling the device at a loss to emphasize its innovative features.
