OnePlus 15R, Poco F8 Ultra, and Google Pixel Discounts: Smart Choices for Your Next Smartphone

Source: Date:

Last week, we highlighted the OnePlus 15R, which is currently available with a €100 discount exclusively on the 512GB model. This effectively makes it a cost-free storage upgrade. An additional €20 discount is also available at checkout, though while this is a nice bonus, it's a modest reduction, especially considering the phone's recent launch. The €20 discount applies to the 256GB variant as well; however, at a price of €700, it's less compelling.

The OnePlus 15R's price tag of €680 mirrors that of the Poco F8 Ultra. While the Poco boasts a faster Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset compared to the OnePlus's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, this price comparison is based on the Poco's 12/256GB configuration, which features half the storage of the 15R.

Moreover, the Poco F8 Ultra offers a superior camera setup, including a larger 50MP main camera (1/1.31” vs. 1/1.56”), a higher-resolution ultra-wide camera (50MP vs. 8MP), and a 50MP periscope lens providing 5x optical zoom (compared to no telephoto lens on the OnePlus). However, the OnePlus 15R comes equipped with a larger 7,400mAh battery compared to the Poco's 6,550mAh, leading to longer overall usage (21:49h Active Use Score vs. a respectable 18:52h for the Poco). The Poco charges more quickly (39 minutes for a full charge compared to 54 minutes for the OnePlus) and also supports 50W wireless charging. For details on a deal for the Poco F8 Pro, refer to last week’s post.

On the other hand, the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is seeing even larger discounts, although it does not qualify for the smartwatch promotion. Both devices run on Google's Tensor G5 chipset and feature triple-camera systems: a 50MP main camera (1/1.31”), a 48MP 5x/113mm telephoto lens, and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. The Pro XL model offers a larger display (6.8” vs. 6.3”) and a bigger battery (5,200mAh vs. 4,870mAh) with quicker charging options (45W wired, 25W wireless vs. 30W and 15W).
