Vivo is set to unveil the X200T in India on January 27. If the rumors hold true, the brand will also introduce the V70 and V70 Elite next month. While Vivo has yet to provide official details about the V70 series, a render of the V70 Elite has surfaced online, showcasing its design.
According to reports, the V70 will come in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow color options, while the V70 Elite will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black. The render below displays the V70 Elite in black, featuring a flat screen, a glass-metal construction, and a squircle-shaped camera island on the rear.
Sources indicate that the Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, whereas the V70 will utilize the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. Both smartphones are expected to feature a 6.59-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and will be equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery supporting 90W charging.
The V70 duo will run on Android 16, customized with OriginOS 6. Additionally, the lineup's triple-camera setup on the rear will include a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a unique 50MP 3x ZEISS Night telephoto camera.
Both models will also offer India-specific camera features, including an AI Holi Festival Portrait Mode. Users will benefit from AI Magic Weather and a Flower Blessing feature, designed to capture local festivities with cultural nuance.
Rumors suggest that the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will launch in mid-February in India at a price point of under INR 55,000.
