The RedMagic 11 Air was officially unveiled in China today, blending the sleek design of modern smartphones with the robust features typically found in gaming devices. This model sports a distinctive transparent casing and is equipped with an active cooling fan featuring RGB lighting, powered by last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Continuing the legacy of the RedMagic series, the 11 Air boasts an uninterrupted AMOLED display, which includes a 16MP under-display selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner. Its screen measures 6.85 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 1,216 x 2,688 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
As a dedicated gaming phone, the 11 Air features capacitive shoulder triggers and exceptional RAM and storage capabilities. It houses up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM with a memory bandwidth of 9,600 MB/s, alongside 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage offering read speeds up to 4,200 MB/s.
Measuring just 7.85mm in thickness and weighing 207 grams, the 11 Air maintains a lightweight and slim profile compared to other gaming smartphones. It features a high-speed fan capable of spinning at up to 24,000 RPM and boasts an IP54 rating for resistant against dust and water splashes.
The rear of the device is outfitted with a dual-camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.55” sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide module.
Powered by a substantial 7,000mAh battery, the 11 Air supports rapid 120W wired charging. The device operates on RedMagic OS 11.0, based on Android 16.
Available Colors: Quantum Black and Stardust White
The RedMagic 11 Air comes in two color options: Quantum Black and Stardust White. The pricing starts at CNY 3,499 ($502) for the 12/256GB variant, while the 16/512GB model is available for CNY 4,199 ($602). Both configurations are currently listed on nubia's online store, but the brand has not yet announced an international release date.
