The RedMagic 11 Air was officially launched in China today, positioning itself as a perfect hybrid between the lightweight smartphone trend and powerful gaming phones. It features a distinctive transparent design, an active cooling fan illuminated with RGB lighting, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from last year.

Continuing the legacy of its predecessors, the RedMagic 11 Air showcases a seamless AMOLED display equipped with a 16MP under-display selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner. The 6.85-inch display boasts a resolution of 1,216 x 2,688 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

As anticipated from a gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Air features capacitive shoulder triggers along with impressive RAM and storage options. It is available with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, offering a remarkable memory bandwidth of 9,600 MB/s, and comes with 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage capable of 4,200 MB/s read speeds.

Measuring 7.85mm in thickness and weighing 207 grams, the 11 Air is thinner and lighter than many other gaming phones on the market, yet it incorporates a powerful cooling fan that can reach speeds of up to 24,000 RPM. Additionally, it is rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance.

The rear of the device houses a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera with a 23mm equivalent lens, which includes a 1/1.55” sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as an 8MP ultrawide module.

The RedMagic 11 Air is powered by a substantial 7,000mAh battery, supporting rapid 120W wired charging. It runs on RedMagic OS 11.0 based on Android 16.
