Apple Set to Begin Mass Production of Self-Developed AI Server Chip in 2023

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has dominated discussions in recent years, prompting businesses to invest significantly in infrastructure to meet rising demand. After a slow start, Apple is reportedly gearing up to commence mass production of its proprietary AI server chip this year.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that this chip is expected to enter mass production in the latter half of 2023, with Apple’s own data centers set to start construction and become operational by 2027.

According to Kuo, Apple foresees significant growth in on-device AI demand by 2027, which aligns with their production timeline.
