The Realme Neo7 debuted in December last year, leaving many curious about its successor. According to recent rumors from China, the Realme Neo8 is set to launch soon.
While the exact release date remains unknown, the Neo8 is expected to come with a substantial upgrade in battery capacity, featuring an 8,000 mAh cell compared to the Neo7’s 7,000 mAh. Additionally, it is rumored to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

Compared to the Neo7, the Neo8 will offer a new chipset from a different manufacturer—the Neo7 used the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+. In addition to the larger battery and upgraded fingerprint scanner (ultrasonic instead of optical), the Neo8 is expected to boast enhanced dust and water resistance. While its predecessor features IP68 and IP69 ratings, it remains unclear if the Neo8 will surpass these certifications, possibly adding an IP69K rating.
